The Sea Goddess Has Arrived!

Updated: Apr 11, 2020

You have been graced by the deity that is the Sea Goddess - and she is looking sexier than ever! Her polished crown sits pretty on her head and she wears nothing but that crown, her lacey bra and mint tulle, quite the look! Let’s dive into this look and explore what went through my head while creating it.

Traditional Maltese Luzzu Eye

The day I created this look I was having a horrible day and I decided Neville just wouldn’t be enough to deal with it. Thus, the Sea Goddess was born for that day. The Sea Goddess is sexy, unapologetic and strong - she doesn’t care what people say about her and she is simply stunning. I feel like she brings out or highlights those aspects in myself that I already have within my full personality. The character at hand is just a magnifying glass bringing out those specific traits I know I have in me but wasn’t using at the time.

Regarding the makeup look, it is of course very aquatic but it also references my Maltese/Gozitan heritage. This aspect is brought out through the colours used on the eyes and the shape - the eye look resembles the eye on a traditional luzzu.

Traditional Maltese Luzzu

The blue and green along and yellow are very synonymous with the colours used when it comes to the usual colour palette used on a traditional Maltese luzzu. A stunning green to blue gradient was used on the crease of the eye and teal paints the eyelid. I also patted some silver shimmer on the teal to give the look the extra factor a goddess deserves. On the lower lashline, I added some yellow. I also tried something new, a two-toned lip with blue on the top and green on the bottom.

Hope you liked this quick post showcasing my Sea Goddess look. Tell me what you think of this look and let me know what else you’d like to see in terms of looks or characters. See you next Saturday!

Sandy hugs and salty kisses,

Neville xx
