Make Way For Octavia!

Today I will be introducing you to Octavia - Ursula’s daughter. Ursala wasn’t always one to live in the sea. She visited the land quite often (check the song poor unfortunate souls for proof - she knows a lot about the world above!) and maybe she may have had a lover or two as Vanessa. She may have gotten pregnant and given birth to a half-human/half-cecaelia (a half-human/half-octopus) who is beautiful but equally as devious and evil.

Octavia is smart, cunning and highly skilled in the dark arts of sea magic. She transforms her tentacles into legs with ease and goes on land to enchant men and lure them to their doom. Like her mother Ursula, she has a great voice for singing but it is quite different from her mother’s.

Octavia’s voice is a stunning range from contralto to soprano and uses it to her advantage when it comes to enchanting new fans to adore her and supply her with everything she needs while she’s on land.

With regards to the look, I decided to keep Ursula’s colour palette and give it an extra oomph by adding pink, yellow and green. I decided to showcase the colour palette from yellow to green to teal to blue on the eyes. The shape is sharp and winged while still portraying a wave-like effect. This shows that this aquatic creature is evil and sharp just like her liner but smooth like a wave kissing the sand. The pink and purple lips are a totally bold stunning pop of colour within the look and the colour scheme of the character.

Hope you enjoyed this look! I would love to know what your opinion is and please do give me feedback. Thanks for tuning in once more and see you next Saturday!

Sandy hugs and salty kisses,

Neville xx
